It looks even better in person than in the photos

The photos give a good idea of what it looks like, but the buckle looks even better when worn. It has more presence, and the finish is sharper than I imagined.

First order, a very pleasant surprise

I hadn’t heard of Fly-Belts before I stumbled upon the website. I liked the concept, but I wanted to see if the product actually lived up to it. When it arrived, I had no regrets: the belt is beautifully presented, it comes in a nice gift pouch, and it looks even better in person. What I appreciate is that it’s still wearable. It’s truly unique, but it doesn’t make you feel like you’ve bought something eccentric.

Grün und Grau decken fast alles ab

Zwei Farben, zwei Stimmungen. Das Grüne trag ich zu Leinenhemden und Jeans, das Graue unter dem Sakko. Dieselbe Schnalle hält beide — und macht den Wechsel eher zu einem Ritual als zu einer Hürde. Schlaustes Accessoire, das ich dieses Jahr gekauft habe.

Il sistema intercambiabile è davvero utile

Prima di provarlo, avevo dei dubbi sull'utilità di una cintura intercambiabile. In pratica, cambiarla è semplicissimo: posso abbinare due colori diversi e il sistema dà davvero l'impressione di avere due cinture senza dover accumulare pezzi.

Podobało mi się, że pasek został dostarczony w etui. Nie trzeba szukać skomplikowanego opakowania: opakowanie jest schludne, proste i wystarczające, by stworzyć prawdziwy prezent.

Molto pratico per il fine settimana

Per una gita di due o tre giorni è perfetto. Mi bastano un solo anello e due cinturini, e ho abbastanza scelta per diversi outfit. Occupa pochissimo spazio.

Das Orange ist kräftiger als erwartet

Ich habe mich für das orangefarbene Modell entschieden, weil ich einen Gürtel wollte, der sich von meinen üblichen Modellen unterscheidet. Die Qualität ist wirklich gut: Die Schnalle funktioniert einwandfrei, der Riemen wirkt robust und das Gesamtbild ist originell. Allerdings ist die Farbe kräftiger, als ich mir vorgestellt hatte. Zu einer Raw-Denim-Jeans oder einem sehr schlichten Outfit passt er sehr gut. Bei bereits farbenfroher Kleidung ist es etwas schwieriger.

Siempre da que hablar

No pensaba que un cinturón pudiera dar tanto que hablar. La primera vez que me lo puse para ir a cenar, alguien reconoció la hebilla antes incluso de que dijera nada. Desde entonces, es casi una constante: me preguntan de dónde es. Eso es lo que más me gusta. Sigue siendo fácil de llevar, pero tiene una historia de verdad.

J’ai bien fait de prendre la Slim

J’hésitais entre Authentic et Slim, surtout pour mes pantalons de ville. J’ai finalement choisi la Slim et c’était le bon choix : elle passe partout, même avec mes chinos. La boucle garde quand même le côté original "issu de l'avion" que je cherchais.
